After a quiet December, the Local Records Unit has been back on the road offering training and consultations to Local Governments. Yesterday, Emily Hanna, Jason Woolf and Tom Vincent met in Iredell County to present some training to a municipal office. We also had time to visit with the Iredell County Clerk.
Next week the Local Records Unit will present and collect minutes at the Clerks’ Academy, consult at a local DSS office, and participate in a Charlotte History Roundtable meeting. We have also committed to offering training at the Regional Clerks’ Academies on Fridays in April. Finally, the first week in February the Local Records Unit will be announcing some regional Managing Public Records workshops for March as we try to fill in some geographic gaps left in our travels last fall.
Keep you eyes on this space for news of our March workshops and as always, let us know if we can help you.
